Volunteer

How You Can Help!
The Beacon of Hope is always looking for help to continue our mission. We count on the community to provide volunteer services, goods for the Attic, and financial assistance and we thank all of you who have become a part of our mission.

 Volunteering
It would be impossible to accomplish all we do without our many volunteers. They are so appreciated. There are so many different ways you can volunteer – in the Attic (thrift store), tutoring, delivering Beacon Bites, at the front desk, helping with fundraisers and more. There are many needs you can fill. We would love for you to come on board. Come to the front desk, fill out a form, do a background check. Results come back in about a week and you’re ready to go.

Contributions
The proceeds from the Attic help support much of the Beacon’s activities. We also get help from the United Way, the Holiday House fundraiser, other fundraisers, donations from other groups and individuals. As we know this is not enough to fully support our mission. Any contributions would be greatly appreciated. If you can make a donation please do so by using the donate button on this Website. You can also drop it off at the Beacon or  send a check to Beacon of Hope, 5090 Doug Taylor Circle, St James City, Fl 33956. And thank you.

Donations to the Attic
Please drop them off at the Attic, which is at the right side of the Beacon building at 5090 Doug Taylor Circle, St. James City, FL 33956, Monday through Friday from 9 to 2.
