Since Hurricane Charley in 2004 — and through Ian, Helene, and Milton — Beacon of Hope has stood by Pine Island, offering emergency relief and long-term recovery. But our mission goes far beyond disaster response.
As the cost-of-living rises, many families and seniors who’ve lived here for generations are now struggling to stay. Beacon of Hope provides more than just aid — we offer education, case management, and direct assistance that empowers islanders to rebuild and thrive.
Your donation helps us provide real support:
Groceries for a family in crisis. Housing help for a senior or family on a fixed income. A compassionate ear for someone who feels alone.
We believe in offering a hand up — never a handout. With your help, we can keep HOPE alive for Pine Island.
Support Our Mission
The Beacon of Hope thrives thanks to generous contributions from our community. Proceeds from the Attic thrift store, support from United Way, Holiday House, fundraisers, and individual donations all help us serve those in need — but it’s not enough to fully sustain our mission.
